As a church family, we are committed to building a loving fellowship, led by the Holy Spirit, so we can serve Jesus in Melton and wherever He leads us.
Many of us are older in years but we are all young at heart and welcome people of all ages into our fellowship.
We have a varied style of worship with traditional hymns and contempory worship songs.
We like to be active, reaching out to others in our town through regular coffee mornings which are usually very busy.
Although we have only a small number of children we have a dedicated team of leaders. We are always praying for more children to come along and you can find out about our other children’s activities on the Children’s page.
Our little chapel at Freeby is famous for its association with Isaac Watts who preached there while a tutor in the area. The chapel is no longer in regular use but we share services with our Anglican friends there throughout the year.
We have some joint services with our Methodist neighbours, notably on Palm Sunday and at Christmas. As a Church we have a strong involvement with Churches Together in Melton and some of our members are involved with the Child Contact Centre as volunteers. We are also involved with the Street Pastors.
All in all we are a friendly group of people and will welcome you warmly if you come to visit us.
